About Dreamify
Dreamify is a baby-soothing music app for the hours when nobody is at their best. You press one large button and music starts — no playlists to build, no forms to fill in, no account needed to begin. From there Dreamify adapts: it moves between calmer and livelier music depending on how the night is going, fades the screen down so it can sit in a dark nursery, keeps playing when your phone is in your pocket, and can end the session on a sleep timer. If you turn the optional cry listener on, the sound reading happens on your own device and the music follows it, gently lowering the energy when your baby starts to fuss.
Who it is for
It is for parents of newborns, babies and toddlers who are trying to get a nap, a bedtime or a car ride to go smoothly — and for the parent doing it one-handed at 3AM. You can record your own voice singing a lullaby and play it back to your child, keep a library of the songs that actually work, mark the ones that do, and set up moments like sleep, bath time or play so the music suits what you are doing. Premium adds a larger curated library and the extra session tools; everything essential stays free, because a crying baby is a bad time to meet a paywall.
Who builds it
Dreamify is built by Shahar, an AI software engineer from Yokneam Illit, Israel, and the dad of a six-month-old girl and a three-year-old boy. It started from something very practical: when the night goes badly, the next day at work goes badly too. So this app is the thing that helps him and his wife settle their two children — written by a parent who is using it the same night you are, and shaped by what happens in a real nursery rather than in a product plan.
